It was ok, happy hour online stated more deals than they actually offered but the margarita I got was really good! Good food. Nice atmosphere. They offer a Saturday and Sunday brunch. We always have a great time at Tejas. The food is delicious, and the staff is great!!! Oh, and cant forget about the drinks....the Red Door Challenge! Tejas is one of our faves. Varied selection of breakfast and other foods on the menu. We enjoyed our meals. Noisy; no accoustic dampening. It was ok, happy hour online started more deal than they actually offered but the margarita I got was really good! Great place, very original menu and food is excellent.Drinks can be a bit pricey but the food and atmosphere can't be beat. Weston is one of Shreveport's finest chefs. I always love it here ! Food is good service is great! Thanks Samantha. Food was good. Had brunch bowl that was very filling. Cheesy grits, two eggs, and ham. The best part, $3 drinks, (drink station for you to make your drink, oj, bloody Mary mix, pineapple juice, all the garnishes you can think of). Their lunch menu looked good too! Prices are very reasonable. Very nice staff! This was my first visit to Tejas and I definitely will be back! This is a great place to eat and drink! The food is unique and very Texas. The portions are generous. The barman really knows his stuff! Highly recommend! The brisket nachos are where it's at here. I order them without BarBQ sauce, but to each their own I saw several reviews complaining about service, but we went in and sat at the bar, had awesome service, incredible brisket nachos and great drinks. Will definitely be back. Tejas is always amazing. If you haven't tried the Chicken Fried Steak, I highly recommend it. It is quite possibly one of the best dishes at Tejas. ALSO, they have a marvelous brunch where you can make your own mimosas and bloody marys. I absolutely love it. The wings are great and the Friday lunch special chicken fried steak is awesome The ribeye steak was perfection according to my friend and his friend to whom gave his leftovers. I had the chicken fried steak. It was pounded to paper thin which also tasted like paper but was greatly improved by the gravy. Food was reasonably priced. Waitress never smiled even though we tipped 20%. The chicken fried steak was thin and tender with uniquely flavored delicious gravy and potatoes. The ranch dressing on the salad was also uniquely homemade. My service was not quite A-level but they were about to close so I'll forgive that. I will definitely be back when I'm in town.
